Three 18th-Century Sonatas (Instrumental Solo & Piano Accompaniment)

The first modern editions of three attractive eighteenth-century cello sonatas of moderate technical ability. Together, they offer an invaluable introduction to the literature of a period that saw a great flowering in the cello's development. These practical performing editions provide suggested ornamentation for cello, and keyboard realisations that have been kept deliberately simple.
