Paiste Gut for 32 Symphonic Gong

Suspension material made of gut string. Gut string is supremely suited as it minimizes the transfer of vibrations to the gong stand. From time to time the gut string should be examined for wear and tear and, if necessary, be replaced. Each gong should be suspended so that it may swing freely forward, backward, and to the sides without touching the stand. Gut for 32 gong. Actual (approx) length is 29 1/2.

What is the Paiste Gut for 32 Symphonic Gong?

Paiste gongs run from symphonic instruments used in orchestral repertoire to the Planet and Sound Creation series used in sound therapy work. Each is hammered to a defined pitch behaviour rather than left to chance, which matters when a gong is being played to a score or used in a therapeutic setting where the fundamental is the point.
